Probably the most annoying one is the way that you specify a local root directory for your project, and then Coda doesn't honor it. Coda 2's are just baffling I don't know why Panic allows them to persist. Volatile formulas don’t capture their values: they are recalculated every time you open your browser (if that’s dependent on User()), and also every ~second if they depend on Now().I've used Coda 2 a lot, but Espresso's CSS editor was really nice.īoth of the applications have profound UI problems, though. They are invalidated and recalculated only if something in their dependency graph is invalidated. Non-volatile formulas have their last calculated value captured and just show that. formulas that depend on columns, which depend on columns, which has User() in its formula). Volatile formulas are those that depend on either current time ( Now(), Today()) or current user ( User()), either directly or through a dependency graph (i.e. There are volatile and non-volatile formulas.
